Technical Product Owner PHP (m/f/d)


in full time
at one of our locations in Hamburg, Berlin, Hanover or Oldenburg.
 
As a Technical Product Owner PHP, you will be part of an international team at several locations with a focus on app, webpage and platform development. Our customers are public transport companies and transport associations and we develop customized apps, web stores and mobility solutions for them in a project context. As a Technical Product Owner PHP, you are responsible for designing and developing innovative product solutions, taking into account all relevant stakeholders and company goals.

The following tasks fall within this area of responsibility

  • You drive the development and improvement of our products and find the balance between market requirements, technical feasibility and financial impact
  • You are the interface between project management, software development and QA and are responsible for ensuring that customer requirements are translated into technical solutions and vice versa
  • As a technical expert and contact person for our products, you make well-founded decisions on the further development of the products in coordination with our product management team
  • You ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet our customers' requirements
  • You create and maintain a product backlog with detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
  • You fill large open spaces with your own ideas and the will to take responsibility for your decisions

Our requirements

  • Sound knowledge of PHP and web technologies (CSS, HTML, React/Vue.js)
  • Basic knowledge of Linux and confident handling of the terminal
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases (e.g. mariaDB, Postgres)
  • Basic understanding of network topologies, firewalls and VPNs
  • Knowledge of Gitflow or comparable software release workflows
  • Several years of experience as a (technical) product owner or in a comparable role as well as experience in software development and software architecture; a focus on apps, web stores or platforms is desirable
  • Relevant experience in the application of agile methods (e.g. Scrum) and tools in software development  
  • Interest in working in a dynamic environment and managing the requirements of different stakeholders  
  • Your profile is rounded off by your business fluent written and spoken German and English skills
